Repairs or alterations to your existing tarpaulins are also available. Canvas tarpaulins can be waterproofed by us, or we stock waterproofing for the handyman who wants to tackle the project himself.     Tarpaulins and Side Curtains and Grain Bin Covers...   Tarpaulins and side curtains, and grain bin covers are manufactured by Sunset Canvas using an ultra strong reinforcing technique superior to other methods. This ensures you are not continually repairing the tarp at the tie-down points where the pressure is at its utmost and the strength needs to be.   Features… Extra strength reinforcing; 6mm rope edge perimeter sewn into hem for added strength; Brass eyelets in a reinforced patch, the eyelets sit against the rope edge to reduce the chance of the eyelet pulling out; Silver ropes are all UV stabilized. Optional Extras… steel ring shorteners – fully reinforced in a triangular patch; name stencil.   Rollover Tarpaulins...   Standard rollover tarps are made to the specifications set out below or a rollover tarp can be custom-made to suit your trailer. To ensure your tarp will withstand the test of time, the PVC vinyl used is the same as in the sliding truck curtains. Reinforcing is paramount and strengthens the rollover tarpaulin so Sunset Canvas can guarantee a quality outcome.   Features… Heavy-duty PVC vinyl (930g/m2) - will withstand being pulled over the trailer; Double reinforced on both sides of length of tarp; 500mm drop over the back and front and on the driver’s side of the trailer; Joins are high frequency welded – more waterproof and extra strong; Silver ropes are all UV stabilized - four at the front, and four at the back; Rubber rings are attached to the ropes and fasten to hooks mounted on trailer to secure the tarp; Alloy hooks are supplied to mount on trailer to hook the rubber rings onto.       Sliding Curtains...   Sliding truck curtains or torque liners can be time consuming to repair if they must be removed from the truck because of major rips and tears. So let Sunset Canvas get it right the first time and ensure your sliding truck curtains will have all the necessary reinforcing and is made in a quality, durable material.   Features… Heavy-duty PVC vinyl (930g/m2); Reinforced top edge to take ball bearing plate rollers; Reinforced bottom edge at the coaming rail; Stainless steel buckles with tensioning strap to suit tie rail and coaming rail; Reinforced by using ribbed webbing welded on the inside behind each buckle and continuing up the full height of the curtain behind the plate roller at the top edge. Optional Extras… Can be fully insulated; Gate reinforcing is recommended; Signwriting – promote your business or someone else's – logos, pictures, etc.   Cotton Tarpaulins...   Sunset Canvas can manufacture any type of cotton tarpaulin, from flat, fitted or belt type cotton tarps with various options, to a cotton tarp of your own design. These cotton tarpaulins, if handled and stored correctly, should last for many seasons. Often cotton growers have achieved more than 10 seasons from their cotton tarpaulins because the canvacon fabric is made for the harsh Australian conditions. To use a lesser quality fabric could put your cotton crop at risk – use Sunset Canvas cotton tarps, the best module protection you can get. Belted cotton tarps have 50mm seat belt webbing on the perimeter of the cotton tarp and a quick release “cam” buckle that allows for tensioning at both ends. Other tarps are fitted or roped depending on your preference.   Features… 5000E or 7000E UV stabilized Canvacon material; 3 year UV warranty on the material; Various colours – can be multi-coloured – your choice; Generous drop over side of module for fitted tarps; Welded edges with brass eyelets or... Cotton Seed and Haystack Covers...   Cotton seed covers and haystack covers can be made to any size required, in the material most suited to your needs.
