Shade Canopies are a cost effective and low maintenance shade solution. Sunset Canvas has supplied and installed shade canopies for numerous schools, community organizations, Councils and residential owners. Sunset Canvas shade canopies provide shade over play equipment, pools, in parks and as carports. Shapes and styles include hexagonal, pyramid, square, rectangle or hip-roofed shade canopies. All fittings are stainless steel, the thread is UV stabilized and the hemming method is more robust to withstand the test of time in the great Australian outdoors. Shade Canopies can be fully installed by us (throughout south-east Queensland and south-west Queensland and into Northern NSW) or supplied in kit form and with our instructions and guidelines can be fitted by the competent home handyman. Features… Fabric: The fabric cover is correctly tensioned during installation and is available in heavy duty commercial grade shadecloth – Wide range of colours U.V. protection up to 98%; Double row lock stitching. Frame/Footings: Galvanised frame including columns and roof rafters that can be powdercoated to any colour; Structures have reinforcing gusset plates welded to elbows of rafters for extra strength; Columns are swaged into rafters for better aesthetics, as well as eliminating water penetration of steel frame; Anti-vandal disks can be fitted to structures as an optional extra; Concrete footings to Engineer’s specifications. General: All our shade structures are engineer designed; Have acceptance of government bodies (including Councils and Q Build); Are low maintenance; The net will have a cable perimeter with reinforced cable outlets and reinforced corners.
